In CFD-VIEW, a model rotates about its geometric center by default. For rotating complex models,
this may not be very convenient. CFD-VIEW has a feature that
allows you to set the rotation point at the center of any data object
of your choice.
For example, in the combustor model shown in Figure 1, we would like to set the center of rotation
about the center of the surface called "exit". To do this, in the object explorer, select
the surface object called "exit", right click, and then click on "Rotate about exit". You can also set the rotation point from the Menu bar, by clicking on 'VIEW -> Rotate About selected'.

The center of rotation can be set on any CFD-VIEW data object such as volumes, surfaces, spray, trace, etc.
Performing a "Ctrl+G" operation to refit the model into the graphics window will reset
the rotation point to the geometric center of the model.
