Saving Mesh Parameters in CFD-VisCART V2007 Print E-mail

In CFD-VisCART V2007, the "Generate Mesh" panel was improved. Now, with the same icon, you can access all the different mesh types: Shrink Wrap, Stair Step, Projected Single Domain, and Multi Domain Meshes.

Once this icon is selected, you can choose the mesh type needed and then define its related parameters.

In this simplified panel, a new option for "Save Settings" is available to save the mesh settings. When you click this button, defined mesh parameters will be stored in the VGD file. This can be very useful if after creating your VGD file on the local machine, you want to generate the mesh on a remote machine. You simply need to reopen your VGD (could be done through batch mode) on the remote machine, and run the mesh generation without the need to redefine the mesh parameters. This is very useful when working on a model with other people.
