Box Zoom Feature
Did you know you can zoom in on any area of a model just by creating a box in the graphics window?
This feature is very user friendly and provides quick access for zoom-in capability.
Windows XP Service Pack 2 Issues
Windows XP with Service Pack 2 is becoming more
prevalent in use. However there are a couple of
issues for which you need to be aware. These issues
have to do with the license manager and the display
of the online help. This note gives solutions to
problems that may be encountered.
Working with Multiple Simulations in a DTF File
One feature of the DTF file format is that multiple
simulations can be stored in a single DTF file. In
most cases, you will be working with multiple
simulations when you are running parallel
computations. This is due to the fact that you must
decompose the original mesh to obtain the decomposed
mesh.
Using "startx" for Remote Display
In most compute environments today, users have a personal desktop
(running the Windows operating system) and have access to a remote
cluster to perform their simulations. The remote cluster usually
consists of a few to hundreds of powerful machines that are used by
many different users.
Copy/Paste Viewpoint tools
Usually, when performing a particular simulation, it is necessary to compare the results of
similar models or the same model at different operating conditions. It is
important that the two (or more) cases being compared be viewed from the same
angle and at the same zoom level.
